’S e Àrainneachd, Cànan Is Dualchas cùrsa practaigeach, a mhaireas deich latha, do luchd-labhairt na Gàidhlig a tha a’ coimhead gu dlùth air na ceanglaichean eadar an cànan agus àrainneachd na h-Alba. Tha e air a bhith a’ dol a h-uile samhradh fad ceithir bliadhna. Bha e anns an Eilean Sgitheanach ann an 2016 aig deireadh an Iuchair agus toiseach an Lùnastail.

Àrainneachd, Cànan is Dualchas (‘environment, language and heritage’) is a ten-day practical course for Gaelic speakers that explores the strong links between the language and the Scottish environment. It has been running every summer for four years. It ran in North Skye in 2016 in late July and early August.

The principal tutor of the course is Roddy Maclean. It is hosted by Urras an Taobh Sear (Staffin Community Trust). For more information on the course in general, click  HERE.
